The following was before the House in third reading:                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL 298(CRA) am                                                                                               
    "An Act establishing the Alaska Food Strategy Task Force; and                                                               
    providing for an effective date."                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Representative Fields, citing Section 101 of Mason's Manual, rose to a                                                          
point of order regarding confining remarks to the bill.                                                                         
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker cautioned the member to confine remarks to the bill                                                                 
before the body.                                                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
Representative Edgmon moved the previous question.                                                                              
                                                                                                                                
Representative Eastman objected.                                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
Representative Edgmon moved and asked unanimous consent to                                                                      
withdraw the motion. There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                               
                                                                                                                                
The Speaker, citing Section 101.2 of Mason's Manual, cautioned the                                                              
member to abstain from persistent irrelevance.
